Survey finds confusion over fiber

A Mintel survey found 37% of consumers believe they can get enough fiber from regular foods and 27% believe foods with added fiber don’t taste good. The survey also showed 25% think fiber is only necessary for people with digestive problems, and 30% of men and 23% of women believe fiber supplements are as effective as fiber-rich foods.
